Information:
1. Unvented chest seals (CSs) are currently recommended for the management of penetrating thoracic injuries in the battlefield. 2.With the unvented CS, the intrapleural pressure progressively increased to positive levels with smaller differences between inspiration and expiration .
The Vented Chest Seal provides users with a vented chest seal in a compact packaging for the treatment of penetrating injuries to the chest. Designed with 3 vented channels that allow air to escape the chest cavity during exhalation but prevents airflow from entering through the injury site during inhalation.
